We paid the deposit on the remodel today. The contractor (also a friend and neighbor) came over while I was cleaning the house in my pajamas. I guess I'll have to get used to that if we're going to have strangers tromping through our house.
Certainly the knowledge that they are going to rip off the back half of my house gets me off the hook as far as spring cleaning is concerned. No need to dust those out-of-the-way corners now!
