The surgery went well. All of the cancer was contained with the kidney and was removed. There was no other involvement. She lost very little blood and the surgery only lasted 90 minutes. When I left this afternoon, she was hovering somewhere around consciousness, but wasn't in any pain. YEAH!
Now Mom has to heal. THAT'S not going to be pleasant because it was a tough surgery (although it went off without a hitch). Thanks for positive wishes and continued prayers for a speedy recovery!
